Educating outside of education.

Learn, then share. Learn, then share. Learn, then share. This has been the pattern of my work throughout my career. Regardless of the industry and context, I was analyzing target audiences, designing materials, training staff, and leading teams.

Although a circuitous route, much of my career has been spent in the classroom focusing on designing instruction for students and staff with a focus on integrating diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. I led groups and professional developments with the intention of expanding and growing as professionals, sharing tools, and reviewing strategies.

In addition to teaching, I took on roles such as as Teacher Development Liaison and Culturally Proficient Teacher Learning Partner that provided me the opportunity to develop and provide professional developments, in-person, virtual, and hybrid, to large and small groups of colleagues reaching hundreds of educators in my school and county.

Since leaving the classroom, I have been able to grow these same skills while developing within the project management field and earning my PMP. I look forward to working with organizations to utilize my abilities to support learning and growth to meet data-driven targeted objectives.
